Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs): What they mean for you

That’s why our selected district heating products come with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs): independently verified reports that clearly outline the environmental impact of our heat, based on internationally recognized standards.
An EPD provides reliable data - such as the carbon footprint per megawatt-hour - based on a full life cycle assessment. This means that an EPD gives you trusted data which translate into real value:
- Meet green building and sustainability requirements, such as LEED, BREEAM, or national certifications
- Simplify ESG and carbon reporting with clear, third-party verified emissions data
- Strengthen your position in public tenders where environmental performance matters
- Avoid greenwashing by basing your claims on standardized, internationally recognized metrics
- Support climate targets and accountability, both internally and publicly
