Last Saturday morning, app. 80 young handball players and their leaders from Viborg HK (Viborg United Handball Club) spend their morning collecting trash on the roadsides in and around the town of Viborg, DK.
So, if you were present in the central part of Jutland, there is a good chance that you would have noticed the young people wearing the Kingspan LOGSTOR Planet Passionate yellow vests. Not only to ensure that the team was safe during the event, but also since this is a club that we have been supporting for a while.
Through this initiative, the local handball club practiced active measures to raise awareness and tackle the pollution issue at its source.
This “collecting trash” tradition takes place for the fifth year in a row. However, one could only wish that this wasn't a tradition, as the desired outcome is that people don't litter in nature at all.
